HONEY GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. honey
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. dark molasses
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking soda
About 7 c. flour

Cream sugar, honey and shortening. Add eggs and molasses. Mix in spices. Add flour (2 cups at a time). Roll in balls, flatten a little, roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
