3 c. packaged biscuit mix
1 lb. hot sausage, uncooked
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Combine biscuit mix, crumbled sausage and shredded cheese; mix well. Shape loosely into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten slightly with fork. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Serve hot. May be frozen and baked when needed. Garnish with paprika if desired.

Monterey Jack cheese may be substituted for cheddar if milder taste is desired.
