EASY BAKIN' BROWN BREAD 
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. dark molasses
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. raisins (opt.)

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, soda and salt. Mix together molasses and buttermilk. Stir into dry ingredients. Stir in raisins. Turn into buttered 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan and bake 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until bread pulls away from sides of pan.
