CREOLE BEANS 
3 cans great northern beans, rinse
1/2 lb. bacon
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 tsp. season salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 1/3 c. tomatoes

Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon and drain. Add onion and green pepper to fat in skillet. Cook 5 minutes. Blend in flour, seasonings, and sugar. Add tomatoes and simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Add beans and heat. Sprinkle with bacon. Serves 6-8.
