BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1/2 c. melted butter
2 c. dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 inch square cake pan. Mix all the ingredients together, combining them well. Spread in the pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until dry on top and almost firm to the touch. Let them cool for 10 to 15 minutes, then cut into squares.
