MOIST PUMPKIN BREAD | |
2/3 c. shortening 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 c. mashed pumpkin (1 can) 2/3 c. water 3 1/3 c. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking soda 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves, crushed 2/3 c. walnuts or pecans 2/3 c. raisins Cream shortening; add sugar. Add eggs, pumpkin, and water. Add flour and dry ingredients. Add raisins and nuts. Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans. |
