SAUCEPAN BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat and add sugar. Mix in eggs and blend well. Stir in flour, vanilla and pecans. Pour into greased 8-inch pan and bake 30 to 35 minutes.

Makes 12 brownies.
