RED HOT JELLO 
1 pkg. Jello (cherry or raspberry)
1/2 c. red hots

Dissolve Jello and red hots in 1 cup hot water. Add 1 cup cold water. When mixture begins to set, add:

1 1/2 c. raw apples, grated or chopped fine
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped celery (optional)

A can of applesauce may be used instead of the raw apples. However, you will use only the hot water needed to dissolve the Jello and red hots, do not add the cup of cold water.
