2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cocoa
1 c. zucchini, diced
Nuts (optional - may put on or in cake)

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk. Add vanilla. Blend in cocoa and zucchini and nuts. Pour into 9 inch cake pans (greased). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost.
