MOON CAKE | |
1 c. water 1 stick butter 1 c. flour 4 eggs 2 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature 1 med. Cool Whip Chocolate topping (optional) Bring water and butter to boil in medium saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the flour, mixing well so it forms a ball. Add eggs, one at a time blending thoroughly each time. Using hands to spread in large sheet cake pan (11 x 15) and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool completely. Mix pudding according to package instructions. Add cream cheese and mix well. Spread over the cooled crust. Spread Cool Whip over pudding mixture. Drizzle chocolate over the top. This may be a chocolate sauce, like Hershey's or melted, cooled chocolate. Chill and serve. |
