BEN'S STEW | |
3 lbs. lean stew meat 6-8 med. potatoes 6-8 med. carrots 3 med. onions 1 sm. rutabaga 1 lg. can tomatoes 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tbsp. basil leaves 4-5 bay leaves Brown meat with flour, salt, pepper in Dutch oven. Cut vegetables in bite-size pieces and put all in crock pot in layers topped with the canned tomatoes, cut tomatoes up. Cook 8-10 hours. |
