KRAKELINGER COOKIES 
2 c. butter
4 c. flour
1/2 c. water
Sugar for dipping

Cut butter in flour. Gradually stir in water, forming a dough like pastry. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll small amount of dough into pencil shape. Bring ends together and twist like an "8". Dip both sides in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
