CABBAGE & POTATOES 
2 lb. green cabbage
1/4 c. salad oil
Sliced pepperoni or smoked sausage links
Broth or water (opt.)
2 lg. potatoes
1 c. sliced onion
Salt & pepper to taste

Wash cabbage, core and chop or slice into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces. Thickly slice potatoes. Heat oil in large saucepan; add onion and meat, cook until onion is wilted. Add cabbage and potatoes, then season with salt and pepper. Cover, and steam over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir frequently. If vegetables start to brown, add broth or water. Serves 4.
