CARBONARA CHICKEN & PASTA
6 eggs
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and drained, or 1/4 cup of “real” bacon bits
1-2 bags of Tyson grilled chicken tenders (already cooked) packets (you can usually find these in the same area as the Lloyds Bbq and Old El Paso taco meat tubs in the meat section)
1-1 ˝ lbs. of fettucini
1 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese (or you can use the Kraft three cheese blend)
1/4 cup snipped parsley
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
minced onions (if desired)
pepper, to taste

Let eggs, butter and whipping cream stand at room temperature for a while. Add pasta to boiling salted water and cook according to boxed directions. (approx 8 to 11 minutes) and drain. If using regular bacon strips, cook bacon until browned, and drain.

Heat ovenproof dish at 250°F for about five minutes. Meanwhile, mix eggs and whipping cream together until well mixed. Add the minced onions (if desired) garlic powder and parsley. Pour creamy mixture into pot and add bacon, chicken, cheese and pepper to taste.

Simmer on low to med heat for about ten minutes, stirring often. Be careful not to burn it! Once the noodles are done, remove the dish from the oven and melt butter in dish. Once melted, toss noodles in the butter. Add noodles to creamy mixture and let heat for a few minutes. Serve with your favorite Italian bread.

Serves 4 to 6.
