1 lg. can evaporated milk
4 c. sugar

Put milk and sugar in saucepan and boil until soft ball stage. Add vanilla and nuts. 1 c. nuts

Beat with a mixer until thickens, and then by hand until cool. Pour into a buttered cake pan.
