OLD STYLE PINEAPPLE FILLING -
FROSTING
 
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 lg. can Pet milk
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Combine milk, water and sugar in large saucepan. Stir over medium heat. After 10 minutes, add 1 stick butter. Continue to stir. When icing starts to thicken and starts to boil in large bubbles remove from heat. Add well drained pineapple. Stir for at least 2 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes and frost 1, 2 or 3 layer cake.
