POTATO FLAKE MEATZZA 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. of potato flakes
1/4 tsp. oregano (ground leaf type)
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. of milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
Dash of garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano (for sauce)
1 can (4 oz.) mushroom pieces
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Combine ground beef, potato flakes, 1/4 teaspoon oregano salt, pepper, chopped onion, milk and egg. Press lightly into 9 inch pie pan. Combine tomato paste with garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon oregano; spread over meat, top with mushrooms. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. NOTE: dry onion flakes can be used. You may also use your favorite tomato sauce from a jar, if you wish.
