AMBROSIA SALAD 
1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese
1 (16 oz.) sour cream
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, cubed
Sm. bag miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. coconut
1/3 c. black walnuts, chopped

Mix together and refrigerate. Keeps well for several days.

This is an exceptionally good and easy to make ambrosia salad recipe. I had to make minor changes only because my daughter is allergic to nuts. I replaced the walnuts with a small jar of maraschino cherries and its juice, (it turns the salad pink). Within 24 hours it was all gone. Not only did my husband and kids eat it at dinner, but I found them going back all during the evening getting more for SNACK. This is a definite keeper of a recipe and one that will surely be shared.
