GREAT GRANDMA'S MEAT LOAF 
3 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. pork sausage, not spicy
3/4 c. cracker crumbs
3 eggs
2 c. milk, or more
2 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. onion, chopped
2 to 3 bay leaves, chopped

Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Yield: 2 big meat loaves
