SOFT WHOLE WHEAT PRETZELS 
2 loaves frozen whole wheat bread
1 egg white
1 tsp. water
Coarse salt

Thaw bread in refrigerator overnight. Divide each loaf into 12 balls and roll each ball into a rope 12 inches long. Shape into pretzels. Place on greased baking sheet one inch apart.

Combine egg white and water. Brush on pretzels and sprinkle with salt. Pour one inch water into large shallow pan and place on bottom rack. Put pretzels on middle rack. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
