APPLE CRUMB PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sweet or sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped tart apples
1 unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt together. Add egg, cream and vanilla. Beat mixture until smooth add apples. Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

Sift flour, sugar and cinnamon together, cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is fine crumbs. Sprinkle topping over pie. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake about 40 minutes longer.
