ZUCCHINI CASSEROLE II | |
6 sm. zucchini, sliced 1/4 inch 1 sm. onion, ringed thinly 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. evaporated milk 4 slices bread 1/2 stick butter Salt and simmer zucchini in small amount of water until tender. Pour off water and place half of squash and onion in casserole. Add 1/2 cup of grated Cheddar cheese. Top with the remainder of drained squash and onion. Add another 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese. Pour 1/2 cup evaporated milk over all. Top with 4 slices of cubed bread which have been browned in 1/2 stick butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. |
