APPLE CRANBERRY PIE | |
Pastry crust for 9-inch 2-crust pie 4 c. sliced, pared tart apples (about 4 c.) 2 c. fresh cranberries 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. butter Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare pastry. In a large bowl, stir together sugars, flour and cinnamon. Add apples and cranberries. Mix to coat well. Turn into pastry-lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust. Cut slits in crust and seal and flute edges. Bake 40-50 minutes. Cool. |
