LEMON CHESS PIE | |
2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1 tbsp. cornmeal 4 unbeaten eggs 1/4 c. melted butter 1/4 c. milk 4 tbsp. grated lemon rind 1/4 c. lemon juice Put sugar, flour and cornmeal in bowl. Toss lightly with fork. Add eggs, butter, milk, lemon rind and lemon juice. Beat until smooth and thoroughly blended. Pour into pie shell (bake pie shell about 8 minutes first and prick with fork) or use (Keebler's cookie pie crust and not bake). Bake at 350 degrees or 375 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. |
