MOTHER'S LEMON CHESS PIE 
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornmeal
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tbsp. flour
4 eggs
1/4 c. lemon juice
3 tbsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked

Lightly blend sugar, meal and flour. Beat eggs and blend in sugar mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
