SPINACH SALAD | |
1 lb. spinach, rinsed, dried, stems removed 1 c. water chestnuts 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained 1/2 c. olive or vegetable oil 1/2 scant c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. chili sauce 1 tsp. salt (or to taste) 1 sm. diced onion Toss together spinach, water chestnuts, and mandarin orange sections in a salad bowl. In a separate bowl combine remaining ingredients to make dressing. Pour over salad and serve. Makes 4 servings. |
