ROLLED AND CUT OUT COOKIES 
Because flour sometimes differs in their thickening properties, you may have to use a little more or less than I use in these rolled out cookies.

SUGAR COOKIES (BASIC RECIPE) :

2/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted flour (all purpose)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
