2 1/2 c. flour 1/2 lb. butter 1 c. sour cream In a bowl put flour and butter, mix with hands until mixture is like meal. Make a well in center, add sour cream and mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Next day cut dough into 4 quarters. Roll out and add filling of your choice. Roll up like a jelly roll. Place on ungreased pan. Bake seam sides down at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Cut into slices while still warm. FILLINGS: Your own favorite or 1. Apricot jam and coconut 2. Marmalade, chocolate chips and cinnamon 3. Apples, raisins, nuts sprinkled with flour to prevent juices from spilling out when hot. |
