Prepare enough mashed potatoes to fill a two quart casserole. (I always cook some onion with my pot.) Mash with milk, 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt.
Stir in 1 tablespoon parsley, 1 cup shredded cheese. Put potato mixture in casserole. Combine 1 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes, 2 tablespoon soft butter, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Sprinkle over potatoes and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Can make ahead and refrigerate. Takes 30-35 minutes to heat then.
