SWEET AND SOUR SHRIMP (OR FISH) 
12 med. fresh shrimp, shelled and cleaned or 1 lb. fish fillets
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp. flour

Mix egg and flour. Place shrimp or fish in the egg/flour mixture to coat well. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Remove and drain.

SAUCE:

1 tsp. Kikkoman sauce
1 tbsp. tomato catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. cornstarch, mixed with 1/4 c. water
1/2 c. water additional

Mix all ingredients; bring to a boil. Add 2 carrots thinly sliced, 1/2 fresh pineapple cut up or can pineapple tidbits or chunks (fresh pineapples cost us $.12 a can costs $1.50), and a small onion thinly sliced. Simmer a few minutes with shrimp or fish added and serve over rice. Serves 4.
