CARAMEL BROWNIES 
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk (Milnot)
3/4 c. melted butter
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. nuts (opt.)
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Mix in bowl cake mix, butter, nuts and 1/3 cup milk. (This will be dry.) Bake half of mixture in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels, add other 1/3 cup milk to caramels. When cake mix has baked 6 minutes. Pour 1 cup chocolate morsels on top, cover with caramel mixture, then crumble remaining cake mix on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool, cut in squares and enjoy.
