EASY FAMILY CASSEROLE 
1 can crescent rolls
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, stems and pieces
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano

Cook and stir beef, onion and garlic until browned; drain. Stir in sauce, mushrooms, sugar, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 8x8x2 baking dish. Cover bottom with half (4) triangles of dough. Top with 4 cheese slices; spoon beef over cheese. Top with remaining dough triangles.
