SCALLOPED GREEN BEANS 
4 strips bacon
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
2 cans French style green beans, drained
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
1 can chopped tomatoes, drained

Fry bacon. Remove bacon and saute onion and green pepper until limp. Add tomatoes and celery and simmer until celery is almost limp. Add seasoning and cheese, simmer until cheese is melted. Place drained green beans in casserole dish, pour cheese mixture over beans. Crumble bacon over top. Bake, uncovered for 45 minutes at 400 degrees. Serves 8.
