1/2 c. cocoa
3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. milk
4 1/2 tbsp. butter
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Combine cocoa with sugar, salt, flour, and syrup. Stir in milk. Bring to a boil. Stir frequently. Cook to 232 degrees, stirring several times. Remove from heat. Drop in butter. Cool. Add vanilla. Beat.
