3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
4 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa, salt and milk and boil in a saucepan until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and butter and let cool. Beat a few minutes with a spoon. Pour into a pan lightly greased with butter. Let cool completely and cut into squares.
