RICH COCOA FUDGE 
3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

In heavy 4 quart saucepan over medium heat, heat 3 cups sugar. Add 2/3 cup cocoa and 1/8 tsp. salt and then add milk slowly, stirring constantly, until soft beads form. Remove 1/4 cup butter and then add vanilla. Cool, then beat with wooden spoon until fudge thickens and loses some gloss. Butter pan. Pour into pan and cool and cut into squares.
