CHICKEN-N-BISCUITS 
1 fryer size chicken

Biscuit Mix:

2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 to 3/4 cup milk

Mix dry ingredients together, cut in shortening until a fine meal, add milk, stir together. Knead dough several times, roll out 1/2 inch thick; cut into 2-inch biscuits and place on top of chicken.

Bake for 25 minutes in a 425°F oven.
