OKRA PICKLES 
3 1/2 lb. sm. okra (fresh)
1/3 c. salt
1 qt. water
1 pt. vinegar
3 sm. hot peppers
2 tsp. dill seed
1 garlic bud per jar

Pack okra firmly into hot jars - leaving 1/4 inch head space. Put garlic bud in each jar. Pour boiling brine to cover leaving 1/4 inch head space. Adjust caps, process 10 minutes in boiling water bath. 4-5 pints.
