1 can cherry pie filling
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
12 oz. Coke
2 sm. pkgs. cherry Jello
20 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. nuts or celery (optional)
Cool Whip

Bring sugar and water to a boil. Add Coke and Jello while it's still hot. Stir pineapple (drained) into the Jello mixture. Mix cherry pie filling in the pineapple mixture. Add nuts and celery (optional). Put in the refrigerator to set up. Add Cool Whip to the top and serve.
