“MAYONNAISE DRESSING” IS IN:

MAYONNAISE DRESSING 
2 teaspoons Colman’s Mustard
1 teaspoon water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Dash cayenne pepper
1 egg
2 cups salad oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Mix mustard with water. Combine seasonings with egg. Beat. Add oil a few drops at a time until 1/4 cup is added. Continue adding oil, beating constantly. When thick, add vinegar, lemon juice and oil alternately until used.

Makes 1 1/2 pints.
