PECAN BRITTLE 
2 c. chopped pecans
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread the pecans on a buttered cookie sheet. Cook the sugar in iron skillet until golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Mix the salt, soda and vanilla and stir into melted sugar. Pour over pecans immediately and cool.
