MICROWAVE PECAN BRITTLE 
1 c. pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda

Combine pecans, sugar, corn syrup and salt in glass bowl; mix well. Microwave on High for 7 minutes, stirring once. Stir in butter. Microwave for 2 additional minutes or until golden brown. Stir in vanilla and soda. Pour on a buttered baking sheet. Let stand until cool; break into pieces. Store in an airtight container. Makes one pound.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
