SAUSAGE CHEESE PUFFS | |
1 lb. Italian sausage (mild or hot) 3/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, cut in pieces 3 c. Bisquick Take sausage out of casing and cook for 10 minutes in skillet. Drain and save drippings. Add enough water to drippings to make 1/2 cup liquid. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup liquid, cooked sausage, cut up cheese and Bisquick and mix well. Roll into walnut size balls and place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Freezes well - good for parties. |
