2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)

Mix in order given. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 12-14 minutes. When cool, frost with chocolate frosting.

Makes about 4 dozen.
