CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening or butter
1/2 c. buttermilk or add 1 tsp. vinegar to 1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. cocoa or 4 tsp. shortening

Cream shortening with both sugars until smooth. Add eggs then vanilla, beat. Add cocoa to flour mixture adding buttermilk alternately. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. For more of a chocolate flavor add chocolate chips to batter.
