NEVER FAIL CHILI 
2 lbs. chili meat or hamburger meat
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground comini powder
1 tsp. ground oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 c. tomato juice
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic buttons

Sear meat in pan or skillet until medium brown and add other ingredients. Cover with water and let cook slowly 1 hour. Pour into a 2 quart saucepan, add thickening or 1 tablespoon cornmeal and 1 tablespoon flour, cook for awhile longer.
