CHERRY TORTE 
1 can cherries
1 can crushed pineapple
1/3 to 1/2 c. of tapioca
1 1/4 c. sugar

Cook juices, sugar, and tapioca until thick, then add cherries and pineapple and red food coloring. Put into crust. Mix half of crust mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Put rest of crust on top of filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

CRUST:

1 c. butter
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
