BANANA BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, at room temperature
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. very ripe mashed bananas
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Combine dry ingredient with and mix well. Add the bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Stir well. Add nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until done.
