WALDORF SALAD 
3/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. grated raw carrots
1 c. diced, red apple
3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 c. celery
1 tsp. salt
Lettuce leaves
Mayonnaise

Let raisins stand 10 minutes in boiling water to cover. Drain. Combine raisins, carrot, apple, walnuts, celery and salt. Chill. Serve on lettuce leaves with mayonnaise. Serves 6.
