CORN FLAKE CANDY 
6 c. Corn Flakes (sm. box)
1 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 to 1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. peanut butter

If you use Frosted Flakes, use 1/2 cup sugar; if you use Corn Flakes, use 1 cup sugar. Bring syrup and sugar to a boil. Then take off burner. (Do not leave on burner because mixture will get hard.) Add peanut butter, mix well. Stir in corn flakes a little at a time. Mix very well to make sure all corn flakes are coated. Drop by spoonful on waxed paper or spread in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan and press down to make like cookie bars. Refrigerate and cut when cool.
